Markets set to open in positive terrain

Indian equity markets are poised to open with decent gains on Monday as majority of Asian peers are trading in positive territory. However, Nifty50 index closed at 9,857.05 level, marginally up by 4 points while Sensex had ended at 31,596 level, up by 28 points in previous trading session.

Following are the top stocks to watch out for on Monday:

Infosys: The board of the company has appointed Nandan Nilekani as non-executive chairman while the Co-Chairman R Seshasayee, Executive Vice-Chairman Vishal Sikka, Jeffrey Lehman, John Etchemendy have resigned from the board.

Shoppers Stop: The company is likely to dispose its 40% shareholding in its joint venture with Switzerland-based Nuance Group.

Bodal Chemicals: The board of company approved plan for capacity expansion by setting aside Rs 153 crore for the same.

Meghmani Organics: The company has formed a subsidiary ‘Meghmani Agrochemicals’ to undertake manufacturing and sale of chemicals and chemical products

Lumax Auto: The company has entered into a joint venture with Francisco Albero S.A.U., Spain to manufacture and supply oxygen censors.

MTNL: The company is likely to consider selling or leasing assets to cut debt.

Tata Global Beverages: Life Insurance Corporation have sold 1.28 crore shares or 2.03% stake in the company
