NEW DELHI: The rupee on Wednesday opened almost flat at 69.69 against the US dollar following soft macroeconomic data released yesterday.
Inflation in February grew at 2.57 per cent compared to 1.97 per cent rise in the previous month. On the other hand, industrial production grew at a sluggish pace in January suggesting that the central bank could adopt to cut rates to boost the pace of the economy.
