On the first day of the week, the domestic stock market opened steadily due to which the market was bullish. Due to strong foreign signals, the major Indian indices started the session with great speed. However, weakness in rupee has put pressure on the market's growth. The Chinese government says that central banks will take steps to cut interest rates. This will strengthen the small and medium business. It can be considered as a major step to improve China's economy. Apart from this, job statistics have also improved in the US.
At 9.30 am, the BSE Sensex was up 98 points or 0.25 percent, with an increase of 38,960. At the same time, the Nifty 50 index rose by 14 points or 0.12 per cent, and was trading at 11,680 level.
On Friday the American stock markets had a strong end of the week. Dow Jones rose by 0.15 percent, while the S & P 500 index rose by 0.46 percent. Nasdaq composites closed with a jump of 0.59 percent.
BSE Midcap Index increased by one quarter per cent and Smallcap index by half a percent. Most of the BSE Sectorors were trading in green mark. Only oil and gas and energy index are weak Power and telecom index increased by more than 1 percent.
Power Grid shares increased by 1.88 per cent to 200 rupees on the BSE Sensex. Bharti Airtel's shares rose by 1.47 per cent to Rs 361.85. The shares of Infosys, HDFC Bank and Tata Steel rose 1.02 per cent, 0.87 per cent and 0.83 per cent respectively.
However, Tata Motors shares fell by 0.51 per cent to Rs 204.70. Shares of Asian Paints fell by 0.45 per cent to Rs 1,507.90. The shares of Yes Bank, Reliance Industries and HCL Technologies fell 0.44 per cent, 0.44 per cent and 0.21 per cent, respectively.
The results of the March quarter will be present soon. Revenues of the top five IT companies in the fourth quarter could be strong. During this time, these companies had achieved many major deals. However, there is tremendous pressure on the margins of companies because they have to make more recruitment of local staff in the US.
