Stocks market update: Adani Group stocks rally as vote count begins

NEW DELHI: Share of Adani group rallied in early trade in Thursday's session as vote count began of Lok Sabha elections.

Stocks of Adani EnterprisesNSE 8.55 % ( up 8.10 per cent), Adani GasNSE 6.47 % ( up 7.37 per cent), Adani PowerNSE 4.60 % ( up 5.34 per cent), Adani Green (up 5.23 per cent) and Adani TransmissionNSE 2.93 % (up 2.85 per cent) rallied upto 8 per cent.

The Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 196.45 points at 11,934.35 while the BSE Sensex was up 665.05 points at 39,775.26.

Shares of SBI, Bank of Baroda, Adani Enterprises, YES Bank and Adani Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Sunteck Realty, SBI, DCM Shriram , JK Cement and Capri Global hit their fresh 52-week high in Thursday's trade.
