Increase in market capitalization of these companies and the wealth of investors increased by Rs 57,403 crore

Investors 'wealth increased by Rs. 57,403 crores in these companies' market share.


In the last week of the last financial year, the wealth of investors of seven of the country's top 10 companies increased by about Rs 57,403 crore. In fact, the market cap of these companies increased by Rs 57,402.93 crore last week (market capitalization).

Last week, the market saw bumper purchases, which helped strengthen the market, the biggest benefit of which is the State Bank of India (SBI). The market cap of only three companies declined, among which Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), ITC and HDFC were involved.

Seven companies, including SBI, increased the market cap of Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Hindustan Unilever (HUL), ICICI Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank. Last week, the BSE Sensex climbed 607.62 points or 1.68 per cent to 36,671.43.
State Bank of India's market capitalization increased by Rs 20,260.54 crore to Rs 2,86,301.54 crore. Petrochem sector giant Reliance Industries (RIL) rose by Rs 13,297.66 crore to Rs 8,63,995.66 crore.

HDFC Bank's valued private bank increased by Rs 12,208.98 crore to Rs 6,30,853.98 crore. The market capitalization of the country's largest FMCG firm Hindustan Unilever rose by Rs 6,341.22 crore to Rs 3,69,688.22 crore.

ICICI Bank's market capitalization increased by Rs 4,884.11 crore, after which it reached Rs 2,57,106.11 crore. Kotak Mahindra Bank's market capitalization increased to Rs 2,54,865.64 crore with an increase of Rs 323.64 crore.

The market capitalization of Infosys, a major IT company, went up marginally to Rs 3,24,305.78 crore, with a modest increase of 86.78 crore rupees. However, the home-loan giant HDFC's market capitalization declined by Rs 2,544.62 crore to Rs 3,38,658.38 crore.

The valuation of the legendary IT company Tata Consultancy Services came to Rs 750,627.04 crore, with the weakness of Rs 1,593.96 crore. Greater FMCG company ITC's market capitalization dropped by Rs 876.4 crore to Rs 3,63,713.60 crore.

Based on the market cap, Reliance Industries (RIL) is still at the top of the table. Tata Consultancy Services second and HDFC Bank retained their third position. Hindustan Unilever and ITC are at the fourth and fifth position respectively. Sixth place HDFC and seventh place Infosys. The last three positions are State Bank of India, ICICI Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank respectively. Last week the Sensex had climbed 508 points or 1.33 percent.
