NEW DELHI: Shares of PSU banks were trading in the negative zone in Thursday's morning session.
Shares of Syndicate BankNSE -3.37 % (down 2.89 per cent) , Bank of India (down 2.27 per cent) , Punjab National Bank (down 2.26 per cent) and State Bank of India (down 1.95 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
Bank of Baroda (down 1.91 per cent) , Indian Bank (down 1.71 per cent) , Canara Bank (down 1.52 per cent) and Union Bank of India (down 1.19 per cent) too were trading lower.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 14 were trading in the green, while 36 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Wipro, Tata Motors, YES Bank, RIL, Ashok Leyland, ICICI Bank, SBI, SAIL, DLF, Bank of Baroda and Infosys were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
